The trip

xtrip
–noun
a journey or voyage
The plan was that me and Shine will travel from here on friday night, meet Sanju, Sumith and Kattu on Saturday in Cochin and all will travel to Alapuzha for an overnight stay at Houseboat.  Sumith had to pull out at last momment since he was down with fever, so it was me, Shine, Sanju and Kattu. Avinash was also expected for marriage, however he was supposed to come on Sunday morning direct to church.

So, me and shine start from Bangalore on friday night, reach Muvatupuzha and call up Sanju.

Mansion

man·sion
  [man-shuhn]
–noun
a very large, impressive, or stately residence.
To call Sanjus home a house would be an understatement. I will let the pictures do the talking.
Sitting room, sanjus alarm clock :P

Sanjus theatre, this is just one of the countless LCD's lying around his house.

Houseboat

After a heavy breakfast we three; me, sanju and shine start off to Allapuzha. Kattu was supposed to meet us over there and then all of us was to spend till next day morning in houseboat.

Shine felt his height was not suitable to capture pics

We didn't miss a chance to pose with Sanju's BMW :)

Once in boat kattiaddi and vellam addi started in no time.

Old habits die hard.

Humongous lunch followed.

And our BMW driver thought of trying a new ride

Sanju had to leave for night, so when boat anchored for the night we went to drop him off to place from where he can catch boat to Allapuzha. So while we were going for that our halli snakes had a face off with this snake. Needless to say, the non halli one ended up dead after few stone missiles from Kattu and Shine.

Night was with more vellamaddi and kathiaddi.

Movie and dinner to end the day.

Marriage day

Morning was welcomed by drizzle, great scenery and energetic people

After breakfast it was time to say good bye to houseboat and head off to Ranni for marriage.

On way we stopped at Pathanamthitta, found a medical store and got the Halliboyz customary gift for Alex. Strangely there were no 20's pack available anywhere; only 10's. Dont know if they reuse it at this place :) . Also wanted to put a 'Users manual' along with our gift, due to time constraints weren't able to.

Alex had shared phone number of one of his cousins to guide us to Alex's house in the morning. Numerous phone calls to him later we were still clueless about the route like him. Or rather he was more clueless than us. Finally good sense prevail, we stop over ask for the 'caseilla vakheel's' house and got redirected to the correct route in no time.

On way we meet Alex's cousin who was driving towards us in search for us, he waves takes a U- turn and disappears in a sea of dust. Sanju tries hard in vain to keep up with the F1 driver, though in no time we make out its next to impossible.

Then we saw a house and all four of us were sure it was Alex's without a second thought. Well, the reason...

Four Flags!! , as if two 'posts' weren't enough for one house. Alex, we would like to know what that was for.

By time we reach, Alex was ready to make the most important journey of his life. Alex, dude we all were planning of taking a look at your new house. However since we got late wasnt able to. May be sometime later.

Well, ya I know, this doesn't come even near Dilshad's 'jeep wave' pic.

Here comes the bride

While we were again busy with kathi addi

And finally, Alex to quote from your marriage invitation mail to the group " I am gettting Married to Nisha Merin Panickar @ the age of 29.5 ( I Cant wait any more guys).  Now its time to experiance the " matured life ". "

We all are happy that your wait is finally over ;)

Me and Shine had to catch train to Bangalore two hours after marriage. Kattu and Avinash had to leave for Trivandrum, Sanju to Muvatupuzha. So we all had a quick lunch, without missing out on any item.  Handed over the ceremonial halliboyz gift to Alex and bid adieu.
